AISWA Seeking Workshop Leaders

In October, AISWA will be running language specific Australian Curriculum workshops. We are currently seeking expressions of interest to become a AC Workshop Leader.
If you are a primary or secondary teacher of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek or Spanish and would like to co-present a whole-day workshop in October please contact AISWA Languages Consultant, Kate Reitzenstein by Friday 13 February. If chosen you, will be required to:
Attend a whole day of training on the Australian Curriculum on Saturday 14 March, 2015. "Ready? Set? Go!" is a national training initiative by the Australian Federation of Modern Language Teachers Associations (AFMLTA) delivered through the Modern Language Teachers Association of WA (MLTAWA). The venue of the training is TBC.
Attend a 2 hour Workshop Leaders after-school session prior to the workshops. Venue: AISWA
Co-present a whole day workshop with the AISWA Languages Consultant to support teachers to become familiar with the language specific curriculum. All workshops will be held at AISWA:
Arabic (6 October, 2015) filled
Italian (7 October, 2015) filled
German (filled), Modern Greek (filled) and Spanish (filled) (8 October, 2015)
Japanese filled(12 October, 2015)
French (13 October, 2015)
Chinese (15 October, 2015) filled
Indonesian (20 October, 2015) - filled
Successful applicants will be supported by being funded to attend training of 14 March, 2015. One day of relief will be provided to deliver the scheduled workshop.
