The next TeachMeet_Asia: Opportunities Through Languages will be held Thursday 3 September at SIDE, 4.30-6.30pm. All teachers are welcome. It is a free and fun way to network.
“Teach Meet” is initiative that originated in the UK over a decade ago but is really starting to take off in WA with a state chapter being formed over a year ago. Teach Meets are free and involve teachers from all levels of schooling across all sectors presenting short talks to colleagues. TeachMeet_Asia have a focus on the Asia cross curricular priority, however, all teachers from all learning areas are welcome to join in the audience as well as put their hand up to present a short (3-7 minute) talk.
Our next TeachMeet_Asia is titled “Opportunities Through Languages” and will be held at the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) on Thursday 3 September, 4.30-6.30pm Teachers are encouraged to participate and present on topic that could focus on/involve the following:
