Penrhos College is this year’s winner of the AISWA Language Perfect Trophy! 481 Penrhos students of French, Japanese and Italian competed in the 2014 Language Perfect World Championship against 1,152 schools and over 300,000 students worldwide. Within the World Championship, schools which registered for the AISWA trophy competed against each other and from Day 2, Penrhos College hit the front and were impossible to beat throughout the two week competition.
What was their secret? Head of Department and Japanese teacher, Mr Scott Haddrell attributes the achievement to a commitment from all students and a great effort and support from all the Language teachers. During the two weeks they lived and breathed Language Perfect, having lunch time sessions in the classroom and even had parents bringing in food to keep the team fuelled! It really was an amazing team effort!
